What are your favourite things to watch, play, read, or do?: I love to make gratitude lists and journal a lot, i also love watching tv shows and reading books that make me feel nostalgic and safe like Winnie-The-Pooh and Roald Dahl collections. I also have a really sad obsession with Mario Kart.

Your favourite creator(s)?: I love music artists like Harry Styles, Callum Crighton, Anson Seabra and many MANY musical soundtracks. Some of my favourite poets are Amy King, Amiri Baraka, (who do a lot of great activism poetry!) John Keats, and more contemporary spoken word poets would be Sarah Kay and Rudy Francisco!

How do you feel being involved in the first Young Person led publishing house?: Really humbled to be allowed to take part in this amazing, revolutionary publishing house! It’s a massive honour to be involved. I feel super excited and invigorated by all the skills development and genuine helpful processes to the publishing journey and feel super loved and supported throughout a pretty scary leap of faith.

What do you hope to get out of your time with Marginal?: I hope to publish my poetry book, “Soul Notes”, that my good friend Ella Fradgley is illustrating with guidance from the team! Along the way i’m also looking forward to refining my style a little more with the need to categorise my poems in order for a book to flow better. It is going to be amazing to see how the business/transaction side of publishing works too. I’m really excited to learn anything i can get my hands on!
