This anthology contains comics written by young people aged between 6-21 who took part in our Pencils Pals project with Alder Hey. Pencil Pals is the follow up to our previous Alder Hey project Hospitales.  

Each week young people would spend a creative hour on Microsoft Teams working 1-2-1 with our staff, sharing stories and drawings and having a good old gab. This was during seemingly endless COVID lockdowns when we were all stuck at home, and provided a space for them to express themselves.
